The Fellowship spans one academic year, beginning in September and ending in early June. All applicants must be able to commit to the entire program in order to be eligible for the Fellowship Program. We understand that students have many other responsibilities during the year including their studies, and will ensure the demands of the Fellowship take that into account. However, students who have committed to several other extracurricular activities during the year should consider, before applying, whether they will be able to manage those responsibilities along with this Fellowship. Students should expect to commit at least 5 hours per week to Fellowship related activities.
While we do not financially compensate fellows, they will receive ongoing mentorship, specialized training, and access to professional development and networking opportunities throughout their year-long term. They will also receive a weekend of professional training in Toronto, all costs covered.
The UofMosaic Fellowship Program is currently only open to undergraduate students. However, if you are interested in the work of the Mosaic Institute, we encourage you to check our website regularly for other opportunities to get involved.
