Traditionally the home of Quebec's elite, the Montreal neighbourhood of Outremont is also home to 7,000 Hasidim. For years, tensions have been building between the Hasidic residents and their non-Jewish neighbours. Filmmaker and Montreal native Eric Scott (Leaving the Fold, Je Me Souviens) presents a candid and provocative perspective of he conflict, and of the inspiring efforts being made on both sides, amongst residents and local leaders alike, to work past their grievances and arrive at a place of tolerance and understanding.

Screening: Tuesday October 27 - Wednesday October 28 (48 hours)

Live Discussion: There will be a Zoom Q&A with director Eric Scott, Outremont Mayor Philipe Tomlinson, Outremont Councillor Mindy Pollak to take place on Wednesday October 28th at 7pm.
