The Mosaic Institute is pleased to announce that Gina Csanyi-Robah has been named Program Manager for the next iteration of our global citizenship education program for high school students, Next Generation 2.0. Gina had already been part of the Mosaic team during previous iterations of this award-winning program.
Gina has more than 15 years of experience as an educator and curriculum developer, and has always worked from a social justice perspective. As a member of the Hungarian Romani diaspora, Gina has been at the forefront of the Roma Civil Rights Movement in Canada since 2008. After serving as executive director of the Toronto Roma Community Centre for 5 years, in 2014 she went on to become the founder of the Canadian Romani Alliance. Gina’s awards for her commitment to human rights and social justice include the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers’ 2012 Advocacy Award, among others.
Gina brings her passion for education and human rights to the Mosaic Institute in her capacity as program manager of the Next Generation Program. Gina is currently based in Vancouver, B.C.
